Some weight loss mistakes can cause your hard work to go in vain. So, before you aim for the weight loss and follow a diet plan, make sure you have a complete know how of the circumstances and things that you are not supposed to do or eat. Here are five things you must avoid, if you are aiming to shed your extra weight.

1: Don’t Starve Yourself:

Just a few days ago, I met a girl at a gym who was working out like there is not tomorrow. She told me she had been working hard to lose weight for months but she has felt no considerable change in herself. I asked her if she usually starves herself and she said yes. That is one weight loss mistake, we all make.

You can follow a diet plan but make sure you do not starve yourself. Starving causes the rebellious syndrome, oh well that’s what I call it. It urges you to eat more and at some point you lose your will power and end up putting on more weight.

2: Don’t Take Excess Protein:

Proteins, no doubt, are good for weight loss but excess of everything is always bad. You only need 46 grams of protein per day. So, you need to cut down on your protein, if you are taking too much of it. Do not go overboard with excess of protein shakes because they contain sugar, which makes them quite fattening.

3: Don’t Take Juices With Sugar:

Though juices are full of nutrition but they are also rich in sugar and increase your blood sugar level. Moreover, they digest fast and make you feel more hungry than usual. So, do not take juices in breakfast, unless you are not putting too much sugar in them.

4:Don’t Sleep Less:

If you are planning on following a weight loss diet plan, make sure you are also sleeping enough. Lack of sleep can make you feel hungry more than usual and develop the urge of late night munching. Make sure, you are not sleep deprived and taking 6-8 hours of sleep daily.

5: Don’t Stick to One Exercise:

Similar exercise conducted daily can make your day tedious and monotonous. It also makes your body used too of the similar workouts which helps in weight reduction to a certain extent only.Following a diverse work out plan keeps you active, motivated and show constant weight loss results. For instance, if you are stabbing to cardio one day, it’s better to do weight lifting the other day. Doing cardio daily can make you feel boring and inactive.
